You are bidding on a huge lot of 95 original vintage photos taken by Bob Mizer in the AMG studios in Los Angeles. I cannot date the images exactly, but they likely come from the 1950s or early 1960s. These are the original prints from A. M. G. (NO reprints in the bunch!) and are all 4" x 5". All 95 of the photos show muscle-bound male models posed in a studio setting and most of them include classic Bob Mizer, or AMG, props, such as spears, axes, ropes, chains, swords, helmets, Greek columns, and other Classical Greco-Roman imagery. I am guessing these photos are from the 1950s, as most of the models are semi-nude, wearing a thong at the most, although one or two photos show rear nudity. This is an amazing opportunity to acquire a large collection of classic beefcake photos by one of the legends of the genre. As a bonus, I will also throw in a book entitled Bob Mizer: Athletic Model Guild, which is Volume VII in Janssen's "American Photography of the Male Nude 1940-1970" series. This book identifies a couple of the AMG models featured in the photos.
